To help you organise your holiday around Cognac, the department and the tourist offices provide a wealth of information to complement your stay in our gîtes: Charentes Tourisme, Cognac tourist office, Saintes tourist office or the one in Angoulême.

Shops & services

You will find all the shops you need in Val-de-Cognac (formerly Cherves-Richemont) (3kms), as well as a doctor’s surgery (doctors, nurses, physiotherapist), pharmacy and post office.

In Cognac, medical equipment can be hired and delivered: Lagarrigue (Povelsen – La Prothèse des Charentes)
